Our law firm is seeking a talented and driven Employment Attorney to join our growing team in Orlando. This is an exciting opportunity to advocate for clients in meaningful employment matters, shape legal strategy, and make a real difference in people's working lives.
What You'll Do:
- Handle all phases of employment litigation, including witness interviews, document review, depositions, court appearances, and trial.
- Represent clients in arbitrations, negotiations, EEOC hearings, and court proceedings.
- Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough legal research into statutes, case law, and regulatory developments.
- Advise clients on their rights and legal options, explaining complex issues in clear, accessible language.
- Develop and execute case strategies aimed at achieving favorable, cost-effective outcomes.
- Guide clients on best practices during pending matters, including social media use and confidentiality.
- Stay current on federal and state employment law developments.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients throughout their legal journey.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of employment law experience, including litigation.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws (Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, wage & hour).
- Active bar admission in Florida.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and collaboratively.
- Sharp critical thinking, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Genuine commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree (required).
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (required).
